Deadline for Rough Cut

As I have planned to film parts of my footage on certain dates of this month, this unfortunately means that I will not have all my required footage for the rough cut deadline. I am making great progress and my video is coming along nicely however and I have had many meet ups with my teacher on improvements and feedback. I have all of my performance footage fitted into my video and I am just needing to film a few very short narrative pieces to include. One of my improvements has been to re-shoot my narrative and redo the story line slightly so I hope this works. My last filming day is scheduled for the weekend commencing Thursday 29th and I have decided to film in South Shields with my boyfriend as it is much easier than travelling down to Blackpool but will hopefully still have the same effect that I am aiming for as the scenery is similar, being at the seaside. I have also started changing the style for editing to a much more quick paced style to see if this looks more effective.

  1. I'm a little concerned that your blog hasn't been updated for about 3 weeks, Charlotte. I need to see evidence of the progress you've made (although I've seen it, you've not actually uploaded your rough cut). Your priority over the next couple of weeks is to get your video towards a finalized state, to update your blog on a regular basis to outline the progress you have made and to include the design work for your advert. Your cut-off for these is mid-March, so you really need to focus on getting these completed ASAP.

  2. Sorry, I have been focusing too much on filming and have got draft posts that I have been completing and will upload these asap. I have nearly finalised my digi-pak but need some help with the inside part and wondered if this would be possible if you were in the media rooms tomorrow at some point? Also for my advert, I am still a little confused and wondered if you could also advise this on me as I have my idea of how i want it to be presented and would prefer you to have your second opinion before going forward with it.
